Marathon man's £3k for charity

A city businessman has raised more than £3,000 for charity by running the New York marathon.

Peter Morse, managing director of building maintenance company ServiceTotal, completed the race to raise cash for the Huntingtons Disease Association. Mr Morse is chairman of the South Wales branch of the organisation, and a member of its national executive.

"I ran the Dublin 2006 marathon and the London 2008 marathon and I was challenged to run the New York marathon," he said, "I must be mad but I got back in training and did it."
